Rokna: The match between Persepolis and Zob Ahan football teams in the Iran Professional League (IPL) was called off hours before the kickoff.

The match was supposed to be played Saturday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium but it was cancelled after several Zob Ahan players tested positive for COVID-19 .
Last week, the Iran Football League Organization canceled Persepolis’ match with Nassaji in Ghaemshahr due to coronavirus concern.
persepolis will meet East Zone champion on December 19 in the 2020 AFC Champions League final.
The matches in the IPL have been canceled to reduce the risk of Persepolis players’ coronavirus infection .
