IMIDRO: Iran mined over 911,000 tons of raw coal in H1

According to statistics by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), the output in this period led to the production of close to 350,000 tons of coal concentrate during the same time span, IRNA reported.

In the same duration, the highest amount of concentrate output pertained to the period between May 21-June 20, in which the figure stood at 69,665 tons. In addition, the highest coal output was produced during August 22-September 21, when 190,107 tons of the product were mined.

In the six-month period, 337,103 tons of coal concentrate were sent to smelters.

IMIDRO figures show that in the last calendar year, which ended on March 19, Iran mined 1.58 million tons of raw coal, of which 664,568 tons of concentrate were produced. In addition, 700,558 tons of concentrate were sent to smelters in that period.
