FM Spox: US sanctions must be lifted before Returning to JCPOA

In the remarks in reaction to recent allegations by the US and French officials who said they are waiting for Iran to go back the deal, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that US should lift illegal sanctions and effectively implement its final commitments before returning to JCPOA.

“Iran has never left an international agreement,” he said while adding that “Iran made its decision by remaining in the agreement when the US unilaterally withdrew from the JCPOA and imposed oppressive sanctions against the Iranian nations, EU and US know it best.”

He went on to put emphasis on the fact that “Since the beginning of the JCPOA talks in Vienna, Iran's position has not changed” and said “lifting of US sanctions, their verification and the cessation of compensatory measures are what we demand now.”Follow the Official Rokna NEWS Telegram Channel For More and fresh NEWS.
