Iran urges US to punish perpetrators of killing Gen. Soleimani

Esmaeil Baqaei Hamaneh made the remarks in his address to a meeting of Human Rights Council (HRC) on Tuesday, Mehr News Agency (MNA) reported.

He further mentioned a 10-point recommendation to the US officials including terminating widespread and systematic racism against coloreds, especially blacks in the US; and stopping arbitrary killings and murdering all over the world especially by drones.

Hamaneh further advised the US to punish perpetrators of assassination of Iran’s top general martyr Qassem Soleimani and his companions who were assassinated near Baghdad’s airport on January 3 in a US drone attack which was directly ordered by the outgoing President Donald Trump.

Stopping unilateral actions and illegal sanctions against other countries which cause “widespread human rights violation,” was another suggestion made by the senior Iranian diplomat.

He further advised the US officials to make effective cooperation with the UN Special Rapporteur on unilateral actions; terminate arbitrary detention and harassment of Iranian nationals abroad under the pretext of political activities and violation of illegal US sanctions; cooperate with the International Criminal Court in prosecuting and punishing members of the US Army who have committed war crimes against humanity in Afghanistan and other countries; stop the complicity and collaboration in committing war crimes and widespread human right violations in Yemen and Palestine by the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia; stop arms sales to countries that are systematically and extensively violating human and humanitarian rights in wars against countries such as Yemen and Palestine; and put an end to inhumane treatment with migrants including separating migrant children from their parents and keeping them in cages.
