Iran’s ambassador to Kiev, Ukrainian deputy FM discuss PS752 aircraft
Rokna: Iran’s ambassador to Kiev in a meeting with Ukrainian deputy Foreign Minister reviewed the results of previous rounds of talks on the January crash of a passenger plane and announced Tehran’s readiness to resolve issues surrounding the tragic incident.
Iran's ambassador to Kiev, Manouchehr Moradi met with deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine and head of the Ukrainian team of negotiators, Yevgheniy Yenin, discussing the second round of talks on the issues surrounding the passenger plane crash which was held in Tehran.
During the meeting, the officials reviewed the results of the second round of talks on the issues surrounding the passenger plane crash which was held in Tehran on October 19-20.
Yevgheniy Yenin said, “Positive progress in the talks in Tehran is Iran's readiness to accept responsibility for the downing of the Ukrainian plane and Iranian government's political will to resolve the related issues fairly”.
Manouchehr Moradi, for his part, announced Iran’s readiness to resolve the issue as soon as possible and to adopt a procedure acceptable to both sides in the third round of talks which is set to be held in Kiev late November and early December 2020.
