A dad who died after being attacked at his sister's home was beaten with a baseball bat and stabbed, friends claim.
Heartbreaking tributes have been paid to Chris Hewett, who had a five-month-old baby and an older daughter, including a sign close to the scene which reads: "I have an angel watching over me and I call him Daddy."
Three teenagers and a 41-year-old man have been arrested following the fatal stabbing, which happened in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, on Friday.
Mr Hewett, 31, was reportedly chased 500 yards by his killers from local shops.
He was beaten and stabbed outside his sister's home before he could get in, it is claimed.

One of his friends told MailOnline : "He had run to his sister's home and was hit by a baseball bat as he knocked on the door.
"The gang then stabbed him several times and then ran off.
"His sister answered the door and he slumped forward inside and basically fell to the floor in her living room."
Neighbours reportedly heard a group talking about disposing of a knife after the attack.
A 15 year old boy, a 17 year old boy and a 41 year old man were arrested on Sunday after police launched a murder probe.
A GoFundMe appeal for the victim's family said children Danny and Chelsea-Mae have had their world turned "upside down".
It says: "Chris was a kind soul who loved and cared for his loved ones fiercely.
"His life was brought to a premature, brutal end which has devastated his family, friends and anyone who ever had the privilege of meeting him."
One neighbour said: “It is a terrible shame. He has just become a father. The baby is only five months old.
“We don’t know who did it. The only information we have is that the police have arrested four people.”
One woman, who didn’t want to be named,said: “The first I knew something was wrong was when I head shouting and screaming. I was outside at the time in my garden and I could hear a woman was upset and what sounded like men shouting.
“Then I heard the sound of someone running down the street."
Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Major Crime Unit said: “A murder investigation has been launched and is being led by the BCH Major Crime Unit.
“We are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry but are also appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has information about what happened to contact us.”
She said: “We have made a number of arrests but as we pursue a number of lines of enquiry we are also appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has information about what happened to contact us.
