Israeli Airstrikes Damage Children's Hospital, Factories, Mosque in Gaza

Owners and workers went to the scene to clean up fallen objects and move debris from the factories.

"I came to inspect the effects of the bombing on our factory. We were surprised by the amount of destruction and the effects of the bombing because the place that was targeted is a few meters away from the factory," said Hammam al-Yazji, director of al-Yazji Factory.

Workers were allegedly working inside the plastics factory when the strikes hit, but fortunately, none was critically injured.

Israel claims that the airstrikes were a response to the rockets allegedly fired by Palestinian militants from Gaza towards southern Israel.

But Hamas in a statement said a "barbaric" Israeli strike had damaged a children's hospital and a center for people with special needs.

Medical sources in Gaza said the strikes wounded two civilians, including a child.

Palestinian groups say Israeli army should be held accountable for its crimes. Israeli occupation exacerbated the already dire condition Palestinians are living through especially amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Israeli regime often targets the Gaza Strip citing rocket fire from the enclave. Palestinians there say that Israeli army violated all the international laws by damaging hospitals and targeting civilians. They insist the resistance is their only way to respond to these Israeli violations.Follow the Official Rokna NEWS Telegram Channel For More and fresh NEWS.
